Creating the perfect blow-dry: Insights from Copenhagen Fashion Week
We had the honour of collaborating with Vogue Scandinavia and Aim’n Sportswear at Villa Copenhagen during Copenhagen Fashion Week. The event was a wellness retreat designed to help some of the busiest women find balance and well-being, both inside and out. Our contribution? Providing blow-dries with a team of professional artisans to ensure every guest left feeling and looking their best.
The art of the timeless blow-dry
Achieving a salon-worthy blow-dry at home is simpler than you might think. With the right products and techniques, you can create a look that’s both polished and enduring.
Prepare your hair
Start with our Rootlift Mousse, applying it to damp hair with a focus on the roots to add volume. Next, choose between our Blowout Styling Cream or Blowdry Spray, depending on your hair type and desired finish. Don’t forget a generous mist of our Heat Protect Spray – this is essential to shield your locks from heat damage.
The blow-dry technique
Using a round brush, blow-dry your hair in sections. For added body and bounce, set each section in Velcro rollers while it’s still warm. This not only helps to lock in the shape but also gives your hair lasting volume.
